Privacy Policy
At Spirit Fleet Solutions ("Spirit") we believe strongly in
protecting our User's privacy. We will not willfully disclose
information about our User's to any third party without first
receiving that User's consent.
This Privacy Policy sets out the privacy practices for the
services offered on any Spirit operated and owned website or
websites ("the Websites").
1. Information gathered and tracked and what we do with
this information
At Spirit we strive to provide our User's with a compelling
reason to visit our Websites again. Therefore, in order to help us
provide an optimal service we gather the following information in
aggregate form: browser type (e.g. Navigator, Internet Explorer),
operating system (e.g. Macintosh, Windows), IP address, and
Internet domain (e.g. Demon, AOL). Where relevant we use cookies to
save your password for each session so you don't have to re-enter
it each time you chose to enter the Website.
2. Information gathered during the Registration
Process
Spirit's registration process requires Users to provide contact
and billing. information (for example, their name, address and
e-mail address) in order to use the services offered on the
Websites. Billing information that is collected is used to check
the User's qualifications for registration and to bill the User for
the services if applicable. Spirit's checking process may include
carrying out credit searches which will be automated. If User's are
not satisfied with the results of any automated decisions Users can
contact Spirit and ask for the decision to be reviewed.
User's contact information is used for accounting purposes and
to contact the User when necessary for User service issues, for
example.
3. Information gathered from surveys
Spirit may conduct occasional e-mail surveys asking Users for
demographic information (like their postal code, age, or income
level).
Users may opt-out of receiving future survey mailings; by
contacting Spirit by following the procedure outlined in paragraph
7 below. The demographic and profile data may be used to provide
aggregate User profiles to Spirit's marketing partners and to help
Spirit provide a better service.
4. Sharing of the information
Spirit will not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any of our
User's personal information or Spirit e-mail lists to third party
companies without first obtaining our User's consent. However,
Spirit reserves the right to sell, rent, share trade or give away
any of our User's personal information or Spirit e-mail lists
to/with companies who are offering products and/or services through
the Websites. Users may choose to have their name not included in
the list to such companies by following the procedure outlined in
Paragraph 7 below.
E-mails sent to Spirit may occasionally be used for testimonial
purposes but will be withdrawn from the services if requested.
The Websites contain links to other websites and Spirit is not
responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such
websites.
5. Security
Spirit is committed to the security of our User information and
we have security procedures in place to protect the loss, misuse or
alteration of information under Spirit's control.
Additionally, we have security measures in place to protect our
User database and access to this database is restricted
internally.
6. Opt-Out Policy
Spirit provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving
communications from us and companies who offer products and/or
services through the Websites at the point where we request
particulars about the User during the registration process.
7. Change/Modify/De-activate
Spirit provides the following options for changing, modifying
and de-activating User particulars previously provided:

DATA PROTECTION CLAUSE
I understand that:
Spirit Fleet Solutions Limited whose registered office is at 9
Cheyne Walk, Northampton, Northants NN1 5PT ("Spirit") owns and
operates a number of websites to provide various services to Users
("the Websites")
Any information I provide to Spirit (during the registration
process or otherwise) to become a User of the Websites or a Website
will be used as follows:
· by Spirit to
provide me and other User's with a high quality of service; and
· by Spirit and
any other carefully chosen companies to analyse and monitor my use
of the services and which pages I have viewed on the Websites;
· by Spirit and
any other carefully chosen companies to identify and inform me (by
post, telephone or other electronic media) about any products and
services which Spirit and/or any carefully chosen companies feel
may be of interest to me; and
· if I accept
the terms outlined on this page any information I provide to Spirit
will be used in relation to any of the Websites.
I authorise Spirit to release my name, address, e-mail address,
telephone number and any other information, which Spirit feels in
its entire discretion, may be relevant:
· if required to
do so by law; and/or
· to carefully
choose companies, such as market research organisations, for the
purposes of completing market research surveys and the purposes
outlined above.
I understand that at times Spirit may use my information to
carry out credit searches and other automated decisions, I
authorise Spirit to do this.
I further understand that at times Spirit may transfer my
information outside of the European Economic Area. Provided that
any Country or Territory to which my information is transferred has
adequate legal protection for the security of personal data I
authorise Spirit to transfer my information outside the European
Economic Area.
I acknowledge that when any carefully chosen companies identify
and inform me (by post, telephone or other electronic media) about
any products and/or services such communications shall be subject
to their own data processing and privacy policies and Spirit shall
not be responsible for any misuse by such companies of any
information provided by me.
